The current rule gives this visa free on arrival. It allows up to 90 days in a 180-day period. The 180-day period starts from the first UAE entry.

In June 2026, ICP widened a special UAE entry route. It now covers some travellers from India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Kenya and South Africa.
The traveller must also hold a valid residence permit from a listed place. The list includes the UK, US, EU, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
The route offers a 14-day or 60-day stay. The 14-day visa can be extended one time. The 60-day option is single entry and has no extension.
Current ICP fees are AED 100 for the 14-day visa and AED 250 for the 60-day visa.
This route does not apply to every UK resident. Both the passport and residence permit matter.
